I’m so happy you found this website.
Through our work together, you will learn to honor your creative self, build healthier relationships with yourself and others, and cultivate the inner strength and wisdom to define what success is and how to make it in the music business.
I chose the name “Inner World Way” because there is only one way to get out of the drag, dread, depression, pain, stuck, and overwhelm we all feel, and that is to go inside yourself. I found this truth for myself 15 years ago.
Before that, I was busy (always busy) taking care of my kids, taking care of my husband and his business, taking care of my career as a songwriter and touring artist, driving a school bus to get health insurance, grinding grain to make healthy bread, homeschooling, taking trips to Michigan to see and help my dad, and numbing out with TV and the internet during my down time.
Everything came crashing down when I discovered my husband’s affair and a second family. My whole world fell apart…I fell apart. That was the end of many beautiful things in my life, but it was also the beginning of a journey inside my own heart and mind.
I learned to like and value myself apart from what I do. I also learned to become friends with my inner critic. Life has become a place where I thrive and not something I survive, while doing everything from the Adult Chair.
